A date at the Griffith Observatory

A few years ago, I came up with an idea to do a couples session at the Griffith… It took a while for the vision to come in to reality, but all the stars finally aligned for this dreamy photoshoot.

—Grateful for these two lovers and their passion for each other, it really made my job so easy—

We started at the front of the Griffith and just focused on same basic / fun prompts.

I couldn’t get the LALA Land soundtrack outta my head while editing these…

We then moved to the side of the Griffith where the stairs are! I was obsessed with the look, so I took the opportunity to get a little extra creative… I placed a ziplock bag in front of my lens to create some creaminess around the frame. I was pretty excited about the outcome.

At this point, there’s sooo much to explore at the Griffith - I knew we had to keep moving!

And goodness, every corner was a beautiful backdrop.

… before we knew it, the sunset hit… and just looook at those clouds!

We ended our session by the telescope sign on the second floor of the Griffith Observatory.

Aside from dodging the crowds, this couldn’t have been a more dreamy night in LA and this will always be on of my favorite sessions.

Looking forward to the next couple that chooses this romantic location!
